先月4月下旬、スペイン・ポルトガルで発生した大規模停電について調査が進んでいるようだ。それとの関わりで、太陽光発電システムがセキュリティ上の脆弱性が話題になっている。
日経電子版(5/26 配信）に、「中国製太陽光パネルに懸念強まる スペイン大規模停電で」と題する記事がある。ここでは、太陽光発電システムを構成する部品のほとんどが中国製であることにより、大停電事件をひきがねに、これがセキュリティ上の危険を生むのではないかと議論されている。

日経電子版(5/21配信)に「Google検索にAI、月3万円のサブスク開始 「ネット=無料」に転機」との記事がでていた。

米グーグルが生成AI（人工知能）を使ってネット検索を刷新する。米オープンAIなど競合のAI検索サービスに対抗策を打ち出した。AI導入は広告事業を下押しするリスクもある。グーグルは収益確保のために月額3万円超のAI機能も提供する方針で、同社が培ってきた無料モデルは転換点を迎えている。
検索作業がAI化されることは有効とは理解できる。実際、Googleの枠組みで、Geminiを使うと、昔懐かしい言葉「ネットサーフィン」をしなくて、的を得た情報を得ることができる。Microsoftでも、Copilotを使うとそれ相応のかたちで情報を得ることができる。多分、これまでの検索ツールは、AIを活用したものに変化するのは当然の流れという感じがする。

今夏の参議院選挙を控え、立憲民主党を含む野党各党は、消費税減税を声高に叫んでいる。
たまたま見たお昼のワイドショーでは、下着デザイナーと称する女性お笑い芸人が、「食うのにも困っている今、消費税減税を行わないというのはあり得ない」と言うのを見て眩暈を感じてしまった。馬鹿を言っちゃあいけない。
このまま、消費税減税といった国の財政の現状を無視した主張が通ることになると、我が国、ハイパーインフレへの道まっしぐらだ。

LetsEncrypt SSLの有効期限が10日後に迫ってきたので、いつもどおり更新作業を実施した。

昨年秋からのコメの価格高騰には驚いてしまう。５Kgで2000円を切っていたのに最近の全国のスーパーでの販売は4,214円だったという。備蓄米の放出に効果があると期待されたが見事に裏切られた。
こういう事態に陥った今、これを救う方法はコメを低関税で輸入すればよい。イオンは、カリフォルニア米を4キロ2,680円で売り出すといっている。5キロに換算すると3,350円になる。いいではないか。
日本のコメに対する関税は、1990年の関税化以降、キログラムあたり341円に設定されている。5キロで実に1,700円が関税である。イオンで売り出すお米は関税を除けば1,650円になる。昨年のコメの価格より安い。
