２，３か月前、家族のiPhoneSE(第３世代）に障害が発生。やむを得ず、iPhone16eを新規に購入した。購入費は10万円弱と年金生活者のわが身としては痛い出費。

iPhoneSEに起きた障害は、端末のスクリーンの右側部分へのタッチが反応しなくなったというもの。かなり致命的な状況。iPhone16eを購入する際に下取りに出そうとしたが、下取りを出す前に、端末上のデータを消去・リセットしようとしたが、障害のため、端末上ではアップルID/パスワードの入力ができなく途方にくれてしまった。

端末上の操作は無理ということで、Web上からiPhoneをリセットすることができるはずAIに質問してみた。結果、Apple-IDとパスワードさえあれば、iCloud/findにアクセスすれば、端末上のデータを消去できることが分かった。

データを消去し、リセット操作を行うと、端末は「工場出荷時の状態」に戻った。Appleのロゴマークが現れ、端末を新規に購入した際に現れる。Hell こんにちは・・・から始まり、最終的に初期画面が表示された。

不思議なことに、リセットした端末上では、スクリーンの不感部はなくなり、タッチ操作が正常に認識されるようになった。

端末自体の外見は、新品同様でなんの問題もない。中古市場を見ると2万円ちょっとの価格になっている。

中古市場で売るのも、面倒だということで、私の2台目のスマホとして活用することにした。幸い、株主優待の楽天モバイルのe-simを使うことができるので、手続きをすることにした。

復旧作業をすべて終了し、新しいiPhoneSEの使用を開始したところ。

SSL証明書の有効期限が本日 2月1日になっていることを失念。本サイト にアクセスできなくなっていた。

更新作業をしようにも、すべての記録はこのブログのなかにあるので、右往左往してしまった。

Googleで更新方法を確認し、なんとか更新作業を完了することができた。

以下、更新時のLogを転記しておく：

衆議院選挙投票日まで1週間になった。

選挙情勢の予想は、概ね、自民党の過半数にも達しそうな勢いとしている。立憲民主党と公明党がくっついた「中道改革連合」が劣勢という。なんとか、民主党が政権の時に経験しためちゃくちゃな時代に逆戻りは避けることができる。

と、思った

しかし、だ。昨日の日経電子版(1/31付け）に「高市早苗首相「円安で外為特会ホクホク」　為替メリットを強調」には、高市首相のとんでもない発言がでている。
